Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure OSHA compliance
- Manage inventory using barcode scanning systems and digital logs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and warehouse security procedures
- Train new hires on equipment operation and safety standards
- Support cycle counts and physical inventory audits
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Minimum 1 year experience operating industrial forklifts
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory software
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends as needed
- Clean driving record and pre-employment drug screen required
