Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload inventory safely and efficiently
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines at all times
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize storage and retrieval processes
- Assist in receiving, stocking, and organizing warehouse materials
- Support inventory audits and cycle count activities
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse/forklift operation experience
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Flexible availability to work varying shifts (mornings, afternoons, weekends)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
