Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and safety checks on all equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by properly tagging and organizing stock.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipping operations.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Assist in general warehouse duties, including sweeping, organizing, and maintaining a clean work area.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator license (Class A, B, or C) is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards and procedures.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and logging inventory.
