As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in our daily operations, ensuring that our inventory is managed efficiently and safely. We offer a clean, climate-controlled environment and opportunities for advancement within the logistics industry.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery, including sit-down and stand-up forklifts, to load and unload trucks efficiently.
- Inspect forklifts and equipment daily to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance issues.
- Stack and organize pallets in designated storage areas to optimize warehouse space.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counting and scanning.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent workplace accidents.
- Perform daily cleaning and housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and organized workspace.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid and current forklift operator certification (Class 1, 3, or 4).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Proven track record of safety compliance in a warehouse setting.
