Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load/unload trucks and organize inventory
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Ensure warehouse cleanliness and organize storage areas for maximum accessibility
- Train junior staff on safe equipment operation and best practices
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved)
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse/forklift experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends if needed
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
