Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload pallets and materials safely and efficiently
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety protocols
- Manage inventory through accurate scanning and documentation of warehouse transactions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily production and shipping targets
- Adhere to OSHA guidelines and company safety procedures at all times
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to promote operational efficiency
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse operations
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating industrial forklifts in a warehouse setting
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and material handling best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
