Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move inventory and goods
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate inventory records and warehouse organization systems
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Load/unload shipments with precision and timeliness
- Train new operators on safety procedures and equipment operation
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years of forklift operation experience in warehouse setting
- Strong understanding of inventory management systems and procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Basic math and record-keeping abilities
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
