Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in warehouse environments
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent accidents
- Manage inventory documentation and coordinate with shipping/receiving teams
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to maintain efficient workflow
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operating experience (certification preferred)
- Valid OSHA forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
