Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials efficiently and safely
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Manage inventory counts and document material movements accurately
- Collaborate with warehouse team to maintain organized storage systems
- Operate other warehouse equipment as needed (pallet jacks, scanners)
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved)
- Minimum 2 years of recent forklift operation experience
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Pre-employment background check and drug screen required
- Experience in fast-paced environments preferred
