Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in a timely manner
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs to prevent operational delays
- Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle count initiatives
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company policies at all times
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to optimize workflow efficiency
- Assist in unloading inbound shipments and organizing stock in designated areas
- Train new team members on safe forklift operation procedures
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating industrial forklifts in a warehouse setting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Valid Oregon driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including occasional weekends
