Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload pallets and materials safely and efficiently
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily, reporting any mechanical issues to maintenance immediately
- Manage inventory counts and document material movements in our WMS system
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company operational guidelines
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, including proper stacking and storage practices
- Assist with receiving, sorting, and staging incoming shipments
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved) with minimum 2 years operating experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Valid North Carolina driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work in varying temperature conditions (refrigerated areas may be required)
- Preferred: Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems
