Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move, stack, and organize inventory.
- Load and unload materials from trailers, trucks, and railcars, ensuring proper documentation.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance checks on all machinery to ensure OSHA compliance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all 5S principles and safety protocols.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company operational procedures at all times.
- Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and record-keeping duties as assigned.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid OSHA-certified Forklift Operator License.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience operating stand-up or sit-down forklifts (reach trucks preferred).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in varying temperature environments.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including overtime as needed.
