Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders while maintaining accurate inventory records and stock levels.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Housekeeping: Keep work areas organized, clean, and free of hazards at all times.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to ensure workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer skills for logging inventory and operating warehouse management software.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
