Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load, unload, and transport materials to designated storage areas or shipping docks.
- Conduct regular pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety.
- Verify inventory accuracy by scanning barcodes and cross-referencing shipment logs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
- Assist in inventory counts and stock rotation as required.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant) required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Familiarity with warehouse management software (WMS) is a plus.
