Job Overview:
We are looking for an individual who takes pride in maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations, ensuring that inventory is moved safely and accurately to meet our customers' demands.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move, stack, and retrieve products efficiently.
- Inspect equipment daily to ensure it is in proper working condition and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Perform accurate picking, packing, and shipping of orders to meet daily production targets.
- Verify inventory counts and update warehouse management systems (WMS) accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure workflow efficiency and timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Forklift Endorsement) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends when necessary.
