Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move pallets and materials safely
- Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance needs promptly
- Load/unload trucks with precision and adhere to weight distribution protocols
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA and company safety standards at all times
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Train new operators on equipment operation and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-approved forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse/forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including occasional overtime
