Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and heavy machinery to load/unload shipments safely and efficiently
- Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow
- Assist in organizing and maintaining warehouse cleanliness
- Support year-end inventory audits and cycle counts
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years warehouse/forklift experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Flexible schedule availability (weekends/OT required)
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Valid California driver's license preferred
