Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and move inventory safely and efficiently
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Collaborate with warehouse team to prioritize tasks and meet production deadlines
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation of all material movements
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies at all times
- Assist in warehouse organization and cleanliness to maintain a safe work environment
- Support cross-functional teams during peak operational periods
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience in a warehouse setting
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and material handling best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation and order verification
