Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse environment
- Execute precise inventory movement with zero-damage record maintenance
- Perform pre/post-shift equipment inspections and safety documentation
- Coordinate with receiving/shipping teams for just-in-time inventory control
- Maintain OSHA compliance standards in all material handling operations
- Train new hires on warehouse safety protocols and equipment operation
- Participate in monthly safety audits and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/forklift experience in temperature-controlled environment
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand/walk 8+ hours daily
- Proficient in WMS inventory systems (SAP/JDA preferred)
- Strong attention to detail with zero-tolerance safety mindset
- Flexible schedule availability (weekends/holidays as needed)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
