Responsibilities
- Safely operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts, Pallet Jacks) to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to shipping/delivery locations.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by tagging and logging stock movements.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and equipment checks.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (forklift license) is required.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and OSHA standards.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and stock management.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
