Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure optimal performance and adherence to safety standards.
- Organize, stack, and label inventory in designated storage areas to ensure efficient retrieval and stock control.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Maintain accurate digital logs and records regarding inventory movement and equipment usage.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily productivity targets and shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (Reach Truck, Counterbalance, or High-Reach) is required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to read and interpret safety logs and inventory sheets.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and good driving record.
