Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods safely and efficiently
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures at all times
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize storage space and workflow efficiency
- Assist in receiving, sorting, and organizing incoming shipments
- Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding operational issues or equipment malfunctions
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved) and minimum 1 year of operating experience
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards and material handling best practices
- Ability to read and interpret shipping documents, inventory labels, and warehouse layouts
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
