Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks (PIT) safely and efficiently in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Load and unload trailers, containers, and pallets with precision and care.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Verify inventory accuracy by scanning products and logging stock movements.
- Collaborate with team leads to maintain optimal warehouse flow and organization.
- Maintain a clean and clutter-free work area to prevent accidents.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding safety procedures and attendance.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and stock management.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required for qualified candidates.
