Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse environments
- Load/unload freight trucks using proper stacking techniques
- Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and maintain daily maintenance logs
- Manage inventory using RF scanners and WMS systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and company protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient material flow
- Operate pallet jacks and reach trucks as needed
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within first week)
- Minimum 1 year recent forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand 8+ hours
- Pass criminal background check and drug screening
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
- RF scanner/WMS system proficiency preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
