Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials within warehouse and loading docks
- Verify inventory counts and document material movements using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company operational procedures
- Maintain clean and organized storage areas while optimizing space utilization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily production targets
- Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain within 72 hours)
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/forklift experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
