Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials within warehouse and loading dock areas
- Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance needs to supervisor
- Accurately document inventory movements using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company handling procedures
- Collaborate with receiving/shipping teams to optimize workflow
- Maintain clean, organized workstations and storage areas
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift license (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Minimum 1 year recent forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
- Availability for flexible shifts including weekends
