Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in warehouse settings
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Collaborate with team members to streamline inventory management processes
- Adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Assist in inventory audits and documentation of material movements
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to prevent hazards
- Operate other warehouse equipment as needed (pallet jacks, etc.)
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience in warehouse/logistics
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and OSHA standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and documentation
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
