Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to move materials within warehouse and loading dock areas
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure safety and operational efficiency
- Load/unload trucks and containers following safety protocols and inventory procedures
- Manage inventory counts and documentation with precision
- Maintain clean, organized workspaces and adhere to OSHA standards
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet productivity targets
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety concerns immediately
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within first week)
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for inventory documentation
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends if needed
