Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with cycle counting processes
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company warehouse procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow and productivity
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as required
- Support order fulfillment and dock operations during peak periods
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid North Carolina driver's license preferred
