Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in warehouse/distribution environments
- Load/untract trailers, palletize goods, and organize inventory with precision
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain clean, organized work areas following 5S standards
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols including PPE requirements
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow efficiency
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counting procedures
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 48 hours)
- Minimum 1 year recent forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk 8+ hours daily
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Reliable transportation to Cleveland industrial corridor
- Pre-employment drug screen and background check required
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
