Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in warehouse and dock environments
- Load/unload shipments with precision using pallet jacks and hydraulic equipment
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate inventory records via warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain within 7 days)
- Minimum 1 year experience with sit-down/stand-up forklifts
- Forklift certification from accredited institution (e.g., ProLift, NCCCO)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic knowledge of inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
