Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in warehouse and dock areas
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal safety and performance
- Manage inventory documentation and stock rotation procedures
- Collaborate with team members to streamline loading/unloading processes
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines
- Assist in maintaining organized and efficient warehouse layout
- Operate other warehouse machinery as needed (pallet jacks, etc.)
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 48 hours)
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift operation experience
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Availability for flexible shifts including weekends
- Must pass pre-employment background check
