Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods safely and efficiently
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily, reporting any malfunctions or safety concerns immediately
- Manage inventory through accurate scanning and documentation of all materials
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize storage layouts and streamline workflows
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company operational standards
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within first week of hire)
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and material handling best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems
