Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials within warehouse and loading dock areas
- Verify inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records using warehouse management systems
- Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance needs to prevent operational delays
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company operational procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse workflows
- Load/unroll trucks with proper weight distribution and securement techniques
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces to prevent hazards
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 7 days of hire)
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings and weekends
