Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs immediately
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to all safety protocols including proper stacking, weight limits, and traffic rules
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse workflow and meet daily targets
- Assist in general warehouse duties including order picking, packing, and staging
- Participate in quarterly safety training and certification renewals
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift experience in warehouse or industrial setting
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety standards
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
