Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move palletized materials safely and efficiently
- Load/unload trucks using proper rigging techniques and weight distribution protocols
- Maintain accurate inventory records via warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and company SOPs at all times
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily production targets
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain within 48 hours)
- Minimum 1 year recent forklift experience in warehouse/distribution setting
- Ability to lift 50 lbs frequently and stand/walk 8+ hours daily
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and weight verification
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability for 12-hour shifts
- Pass background check and drug screening (company-provided)
