Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load/unload shipments efficiently
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance on equipment before/after shifts
- Follow strict safety protocols for OSHA compliance and hazard prevention
- Manage inventory documentation and coordinate with warehouse team
- Optimize storage space and organize inventory in designated zones
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety concerns immediately
- Maintain clean and organized work areas per company standards
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (must provide documentation)
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience in warehouse setting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures
- Basic math skills for inventory and measurement tasks
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends if required
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
