Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load and unload shipments safely and efficiently.
- Inspect equipment daily to ensure it is in proper working condition and report any malfunctions immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all 5S principles and safety regulations.
- Conduct daily safety checks and follow all OSHA guidelines to prevent accidents.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock organization and cycle counts.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets.
- Ensure accurate documentation of all loading and unloading activities.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA preferred).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Excellent attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Basic computer literacy for logging daily activities.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
