Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure safety compliance and proper functionality.
- Organize and maintain inventory accuracy by tagging and stocking products accurately.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipping processes.
- Perform minor maintenance on equipment and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C) is preferred; we offer training for qualified candidates.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and navigate uneven surfaces.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy in inventory handling.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
