Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all warehouse areas are kept clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Conduct routine pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through precise stock placement and counting.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator license (required).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license (not always required but preferred).
