Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely drive and maneuver forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move inventory.
- Load and Unload Trucks: Efficiently handle incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and safety during transfer.
- Maintain Inventory Accuracy: Conduct cycle counts and stock checks to ensure inventory records match physical stock.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections and report any maintenance issues with equipment immediately.
- Organize Warehouse: Keep storage areas clean, organized, and accessible to optimize workflow efficiency.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and fellow warehouse staff to meet daily productivity targets.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We provide on-the-job training and Forklift Certification for the right candidates.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old to operate forklifts.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and perform physical tasks.
- Attention to Detail: Must have a strong focus on accuracy and safety protocols.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is preferred.
- Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and willing to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a standard background check.
