Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (Forklifts, Pallet Jacks) to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and to delivery trucks.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure safe operation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and housekeeping standards.
- Accurately pick, pack, and stage inventory orders using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure efficient workflow and meet daily production targets.
- Handle material handling with extreme care to prevent damage to products and equipment.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator license (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating heavy industrial equipment.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and ability to operate handheld scanning devices.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
