As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in our supply chain operations, ensuring that inventory is moved efficiently and safely. If you have a valid forklift license and a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move products.
- Inspect forklifts daily for mechanical issues and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety regulations and 5S standards.
- Accurately scan and verify inventory using barcode scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipping.
- Follow all company policies regarding safety, attendance, and workplace conduct.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA 10 preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center.
- License: Valid Driver's License (Class C) is required for driving company vehicles if applicable.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and climb stairs/ladders.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate records.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
