Responsibilities
- Operate electric and internal combustion forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse facility.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by performing regular cycle counts and stock checks.
- Ensure the warehouse aisles and work areas are clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Inspect equipment for any mechanical issues and report maintenance needs to management immediately.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production and shipping goals.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding material handling.
- Prepare pallets and shrink-wrap shipments for outbound delivery.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid, unexpired forklift certification (Class A, B, or C).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to perform heavy physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Basic computer proficiency for logging inventory data and scanning barcodes.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Available to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends as required.
