Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and loading docks.
- Ensure the safe and accurate storage of inventory, adhering to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure machinery is in proper working condition.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Assist in inventory counts and stock replenishment as required.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate logistics.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator License (Class A, B, or C) is required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills for safety manuals and inventory labels.
- Must be detail-oriented and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
