Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move, load, and unload materials
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Manage inventory documentation and coordinate with team members for efficient workflow
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Assist in warehouse organization and maintain clean, hazard-free workspaces
- Collaborate with supervisors to meet daily production targets
- Participate in cross-functional training for operational flexibility
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory and documentation tasks
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
