Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials within warehouse and yard
- Inspect and maintain forklift equipment daily to ensure optimal performance
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company procedures meticulously
- Assist with inventory management and accurate record-keeping
- Collaborate with warehouse team to meet daily production targets
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and report malfunctions immediately
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to prevent hazards
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA-approved)
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking
- Ability to work in varying warehouse conditions (temperature, noise)
- Valid driver's license preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
