Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are correct through cycle counting and audits.
- Strictly adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse workflows and meet daily production targets.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Assist in organizing the warehouse layout and maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (OSHA 10/30 preferred, certification provided if necessary).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating powered industrial trucks in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as business demands.
- Valid driver's license is preferred but not always required.
