Responsibilities
- Safely operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, Reach Trucks) to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Perform accurate inventory counts and maintain accurate stock rotation (FIFO) to ensure product freshness and availability.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure it is in safe, working condition and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a zero-incident workplace.
- Collaborate with team leads to streamline workflow and meet daily production targets.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification (forklift license) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning barcodes and logging data.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
