Job Overview:
As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations, ensuring that our inventory is managed efficiently and safely. We are looking for candidates who take pride in their work and adhere strictly to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (Sit-down, Reach, and Pallet Jack) to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and stock levels using warehouse management systems.
- Ensure all loading docks are organized and free of debris to prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping goals.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Forklift Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy industrial equipment.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must be able to work in varying temperatures (warehouse environment).
